Mindshare leads Festival of Media global shortlist

Mindshare China is the most shortlisted agency office at the Festival of Media Global Awards 2019 with 15 entries.

Mindshare India following closely behind with 12 shortlists to take the second spot in the agency office rankings and Mindshare Australia received 5 shortlists, Mindshare UK 4, Mindshare Turkey 2, Mindshare Indonesia 2, Mindshare Thailand 2 and Mindshare Singapore 1.

In addition to its leadership of the individual office rankings, the Mindshare Network, including performance agency Neo – which picked up two shortlists in Hong Kong and which is part of the Mindshare Family, leads the overall agency shortlist rankings with a combined 45 shortlisted entries – representing just over 17% of the 254 shortlisted entries across 32 categories at this year’s awards.

The 45 shortlisted entries crossed 24 categories and 9 markets and were for range of clients including Unilever, KFC and Foxtel.

Mindshare sister agency MediaCom also received 45 shortlists, followed by PHD with 37, UM with 24 and OMD with 13.

The most shortlisted Mindshare campaigns include:

  • Mindshare India’s The Adaptive Data Lighthouse – Activating Infection Alert in Rural India received 8 shortlists.
  • Mindshare Australia’s Monty: The World’s First AI Predictive Commentator received 5 shortlists.
  • Mindshare China’s The First Colonel to Conquer eSports received 5 shortlists.

The Festival of Media award finalists will be released on 22nd May, 2019 at their awards ceremony in Rome.

Mindshare was crowned Agency Network of the Year at the recent Festival of Media APAC awards, (which took place on 28th March) for the fourth consecutive year.  In addition to the Agency Network of the Year title, Mindshare China also won Agency of the Year and Campaign of the Year for its work with KFC.
