Mindshare wins the Adfocus Media Agency of the Year Award

28 November 2014: The Financial Mail AdFocus Awards have been an institution since 1990, recognising the best of South African communications. AdFocus acknowledges agencies, relationships and individuals across the communications spectrum. Mindshare was proud to win the 2014 Financial Mail Adfocus Media Agency of the Year award for the first time, topping PHD and MediaShop.

The criteria for the selection of award winners in the media agency category were:

  • New Business and Growth
  • Business Retention and Relationships
  • Training and Industry Recognition
  • Empowerment and Social Responsibility

One of the key drivers looked at by the Adfocus jury when choosing the winner of this award is ‘Client Success’. Mindshare’s contributions to their clients’ successful campaigns proved that they deserved to triumph in 2014. Not only did their client’s success facilitate them being awarded Media Agency of the Year but the growth of their new business, digital integration and their internal training programmes all contributed to their win this year. With the high standards within the media industry in South Africa Mindshare are very proud to have been considered the best of 2014.
