Reporting of the role
This role reports to: Client Partner

- Manage IBM’s products across multiple campaigns, ensuring flawless execution of clients’ media strategies and working with diverse teams.
- Lead higher-level work streams across the business, creating overall strategy and direction for various products, and ensuring compliance.
- Utilize analytical skills to extract intelligence from raw data, and work with the programmatic and Direct investment team to improve processes and drive execution for clients.
3 months:
- Develop and execute a media plan that aligns with the company’s overall marketing strategy and supports the achievement of business objectives.
- Analyze media performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization and future campaigns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Programmatic, Sitedirect and Social, to ensure that all media campaigns are aligned and integrated.
Six months:
- Implement a measurement and reporting framework to track media campaign performance against KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Lead the development of innovative media campaigns that leverage emerging channels and technologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the media planning team.
Twelve months:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set the annual media strategy and ensure it aligns with overall business objectives.
- Develop strong relationships with media partners to maximize exposure and reach.
- Drive continuous improvement in media planning processes and technology, ensuring the company stays ahead of the curve.
- Develop and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective integrated media plans across multiple channels, including digital, social, print, and broadcast.
- Use various Third-Party research tools like GWI, RoyMorgan, Nielsen or Google Insight finder to understand target audiences and their media consumption habits.
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform media planning decisions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Search, Social programmatic, and analytics, to ensure the success of client campaigns.
- Play an integral role in the planning and management of the Digital Media budget.
- Ensuring complete and actionable analysis of digital buys and optimizations of future campaigns based on those learnings
- Communicate media plan materials to IBM and local teams including media plans, creative requirements, strategy, budgets etc.
- Maintain a schedule of digital campaigns and ensure delivery is on time and on budget
- Aggressively pursue and implement new media ideas and applications that build IBM’s business across all programs
- Devise and execute A/B tests to drive continuous optimization, bringing learnings in to future campaign activities
- Measure and analyze results. Regular reports on what is working, what is not and propose adjustments to strategies and tactics.
- Understand organizational and product goals and map them to specific project deliverables.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in integrated media planning and buying across various channels
- Expertise in data analysis using multiple sources and strong quantitative/analytical skills
- Proven ability to conceptualize programs, develop unique media opportunities and deliver on business goals
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and interacting with vendors/contractors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to all management levels
- Strong focus on Digital Paid Media planning, execution, and client management
- Broad-based organizational leadership, including team management and training
- Fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and partnerships with media/technology partners
- Multi-market experience in region, preferably India, Australia, Singapore; B2B experience preferred but not a requirement
