Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company, and is a part of WPP.

GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and is a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Media Director to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for media planning & buying performance management.

Overview of job 
As an Media Director, you will be dedicated to servicing the global client, including communication plan development and account management in general.

Your primary responsibility will be to gain the trust from clients and manage projects broadly, as well as supporting clients as demand requires. Your secondary emphasis will be on forthcoming new business for Mindshare on demands and team management.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Understand clients’ business
  • Equip GroupM/Mindshare work process.

 

In six months:

  • Lead communications with clients
  • Campaign management via collaboration with sister company (digital media reps)

 

In 12 months:

  • Lead media business of clients
  • Built out your incremental business pipeline with additional Mindshare/GroupM products and service offerings

  • Assist in the development of media plans that specify which forms of media will be used to effectively reach the target audience, including emerging media tactics
  • Generate analysis of market performance

What you’ll bring:

  • Strategic media plan & buying capability
  • Project management; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with consideration to company/client objectives
  • Over 10 years of media planning and/or digital media planning & buying experience
  • Offline media i.e. TV buying experience
  • Digital media experience
  • High level of English capability
