Role Summary & Impact 
 
In this role, you will manage a small team of highly skilled Analysts and Data Engineers that you will coach and develop to maximize their potential. You will consult with senior client marketing and business leaders to define and answer the most important business questions to drive business growth. You will perform storytelling from data and analyses; persuasively communicate insights to internal stakeholders and clients. You will also build customized reports for key client stakeholders joining data from various platform APIs (i.e. Google Search Console, Google/Adobe Analytics, SEMRush, crawl technology, etc.), to measure performance growth of key business KPIs. 
 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
  • Act as primary day-to-day contact on insights and analytics to channel leads, clients, and 3rd party vendors. 
  • Advise on how to best leverage search data, organic search (SEO), media and marketing investments to drive business results Identify measurement opportunities, research and/or advanced analytics that supports clients’ marketing objectives. 
  • Solve problems and drive new and innovative working practices as part of regular client work and new business. 
  • Supervise, train and mentor experienced and junior analysts. 
  • Use Statistical and Data Mining methods to project and explain client performance. 
  • Consult with clients on strategic decisions based on data insights Keep abreast of evolving SEO/media landscape, including research and emerging trends to provide insight to both media teams and client. 
  • Develop analytics proposals and strategies to present to clients. 
  • Identify and partner with external measurement vendors and third-party data providers. 
  • Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules and share concerns about deliverables, timelines, and issues with project managers and director. 
  • Build applications writing SQL/Python scripts to manipulate data.

 

 
Requirements 
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. OR equivalent professional work experience. 
  • 10+  years of experience in statistical analysis, segmentation, predictive modeling, consulting and project management, preferably within the digital marketing space. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a people management or supervisory role. 
  • Proven experience with SQL and experience working with at least one of the major cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS). 
  • Thorough understanding of online marketing, Paid/Organic Search, digital metrics and programmatic media. 
  • Experience utilizing data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Google Data Studio.
  • PowerBI Experience in workflow automation tools, such as Knime. 
  • Website traffic analytics software (tagging and log file based) such as Adobe or Google Analytics. 
  • Deep knowledge of various measurement and campaign management technologies. 
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using statistical and econometric modeling techniques.
