Position
We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Account Director to join our team at Mindshare. This senior role involves managing a portfolio of high-profile multinational and local brands, focusing on their communications planning and media campaign implementation. You’ll need a comprehensive understanding of the ever-evolving media landscape and a knack for driving client success by translating their needs into clear direction and leadership. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in managing and developing our team, ensuring we continue to deliver top-notch service to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain regular contact with clients within your portfolio, nurturing relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and upsell additional services.
  • Develop clear commercial plans and forecasts, outlining growth areas and timelines.
  • Participate in business development actions by creating compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations.
  • Foster close relationships with main stakeholders, particularly media partners.
  • Lead and inspire a team of account managers and specialists to achieve exceptional client satisfaction and campaign performance.
  • Provide guidance and direction in day-to-day business challenges, ensuring team effectiveness and a healthy work environment.
  • Promote constant optimization of internal processes within direct and cross-functional teams, implementing required actions.
  • Ensure team understanding and 100% compliance with Mindshare finance process policies and procedures.
  • Adapt to rapidly changing events and environments while accurately judging priorities and keeping track of details.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of successful experience working as a Client Director in an agency.
  • Comprehensive understanding of both digital and traditional media channels, with an innovative drive.
  • Good understanding of business principles, financial and commercial terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiation processes.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in team management.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • English is a mandatory language, Spanish is valued.
