Scott Neslund is responsible for all MindShare activities in 10 US cities and Canada, overseeing an agency operation with 1,100 employees and an estimated $11.3 billion in billings.
Scott was Managing Director of the MindShare Chicago office from 2005 until February 2007 where the client list includes BP, Kimberly-Clark, Sears, Unilever and Wrigley. He is also a member of MindShare's North America Leadership Board and will serve on the Media Lions Jury of the upcoming 2007 International Advertising Film Festival in Cannes, France. He loves cell phones and the way they can be used as creative media.
Before MindShare, Scott was President of SMG's StarLink, where he successfully re-positioned the agency and won new clients such as Starbucks, E*Trade, Gateway and Motorola. Scott has a host of awards and more than seven years' international management experience, working for Starcom in Milan, Tokyo, and Toronto, where he was named Senior Vice-President and Managing Director for the whole of Canada. He has an MBA degree in international business and marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
