Graham Bednash

Leader, Mindshare Invention

Graham was part of the team that created HHCL – the UK’s most pioneering ad agency of the 90’s and helped propel it to the accolade Agency of the Decade. In 1995, he then co-founded Michaelides & Bednash and created the new discipline of communications planning. By fusing media thinking and creative ideas into one discipline, M & B revolutionised the role of media thinking in the advertising process creating landmark media content for brands like Unilever, BBC and Channel 4. Graham is recognised as an influential industry commentator and awards judge and has spoken on many industry platforms in the UK and USA including events run by the IAB, IDM and Ad Age. He has twice been a judge at the Cannes Advertising festival. In October 2008 Graham joined Mindshare to head up Mindshare Invention the network’s creative media thinking group and take a lead role on Mindshare’s multi- territory Unilever account.
