Mindshare North America appoints Scott Wensman as Atlanta Office Lead

MINDSHARE NORTH AMERICA APPOINTS SCOTT WENSMAN AS ATLANTA OFFICE LEAD 

ATLANTA—July 25, 2017— Mindshare North America, the global media agency network that's part of WPP, today announced the appointment of Scott Wensman as Atlanta Office Lead. Wensman’s remit includes operations, new business, executive client support, and talent development. He reports to Adam Gerhart, U.S. CEO.   “Scott is a dynamic team leader, known for driving provocative ideas and the kind of smart, adaptive media strategies that proves transformative for brands,” said Adam Gerhart, CEO U.S., Mindshare. “I couldn’t be more excited for him to take this role and return to his hometown roots in Atlanta. He brings leadership experience ranging across digital, full-service, and media agencies, as well as numerous client verticals, to be able to unleash the data, tech, and creativity of our Atlanta office.” 

Mindshare’s Atlanta office serves a wide range of renowned brands, including the Falcons, the U.S. Marine Corps, John Deere, Jiffy Lube, Orkin, and more. And Wensman’s appointment follows a number of recent accolades for Mindshare in Atlanta. The agency was recognized as “Best of ATL” in not one, but two categories at the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association’s (AIMA) Celebrate ATL showcase. And, three employees were honored as AIMA “Rising Stars” for their accomplishments in the Atlanta marketing community.   About Scott Wensman Wensman brings more than 17 years of leadership experience across digital, full-service, and media agencies. Most recently he served as managing director, client lead for a number of brands in Mindshare’s Los Angeles office, including Campari, Nature Made, ARCO, and more. Prior to that he was group media director at Team One, leading the agency's work with Lexus, PIMCO, and more. Prior to that, he served as Group Director, Digital at OMD, where he led digital, mobile, search, and social media planning across all lines of business for Visa. And before that, he was VP, media strategy at IPG Emerging Media Lab, where he drove education, adoption, and strategic consulting for emerging media channels at IPG agencies globally. Wensman has also held roles at Tribal DDB, MRM Worldwide, and Deutsch. 

Over the years, Wensman's work has won accolades from Adweek's Media Plan of the Year Awards, the Digiday Video Awards, Creative Media Awards, and more. 
Wensman actually hails from Atlanta – having grown up in the city, he’s excited to return and work with the brands and teams there.
