MindShare and Global Sportnet have formed a new sports marketing business.

MindShare and Global Sportnet have formed a new sports marketing business. The company has been formed as a 50:50 joint venture between MindShare and Global Sportnet and will combine the existing BroadMind and Global Sportnet consulting teams. It will open its doors with four offices in London, Hamburg, Stockholm and Milan, with plans to grow rapidly through a combination of organic growth and acquisition. The business will focus on providing new and existing clients with strategic consulting, identification and purchase of sponsorship opportunities, activation and measurement expertise of sponsorship marketing campaigns. David Stubley, formerly the Managing Partner of Fast Track Sport & Events has been appointed as Chief Executive of the joint venture.


Context

Advertising directed at children in the USA, is estimated at over $15 billion annually – about 2.5 times more than what it was in 1992.
