The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company has consolidated all its U.S. media responsibilities with MindShare Chicago including strategic planning, media implementation, on-line, emerging contacts and consumer insights.
MindShare won the business after a three way pitch against OMD and MediaCom. Wrigley Senior Marketing Director Paul Chibe said Mindhare will help 'build our business through creative and efficient media solutions'. MindShare Chicago Managing Director Scott Neslund said, ' we are thrilled to be working with Wrigley and we look forward to creating media marketing programs for their outstanding portfolio of brands'.
Advertising directed at children in the USA, is estimated at over $15 billion annually – about 2.5 times more than what it was in 1992.
