Mindshare Romania, the only media agency awarded by ‘Art Directors Club’

Bucharest 10th December 2013 — Mindshare Romania has claimed two awards in the ADC Romanian competition last week, and were the only media agency awarded.

Mindshare awards for Unilever's Dero Disruption campaign  were:

  • Winner in FMCG category, Media section
  • Silver in Media section, cross categories (gold was not awarded)

The campaign's aim was to attract  the attention of the young people in an attempt to modernize the oldest Romanian detergent brand, Unilever's Dero. Emerging from a local pop single topping the music charts, the idea was to turn the Dero mascot, Bubbleman, into a real star, using non-spot TV communication, a viral spoof and outdoor bubble parties.

Oana Petroff, CEO Mindshare Romania said: "This campaign had the element of surprise from beginning to end, none of the brand interactions were done in the way detergents usually to speak to consumers. "

Mindshare received an IAB Mixx Award for Integrated Media with same Dero campaign, earlier this year.
