Following the sad news of Nelson Mandela’s passing last week, well wishes and condolences have been paid right across the globe from politicians, religious leaders, celebrities as well as regular people.

According to TGI, Irish ownership of a tablet device is at 9% (Choices 4 TGI 2012), Future Foundation (Nov 2012) claims we’re at 21% ownership, while Red C research has 16% ownership. IAB (July 2012) research found 12% of Irish people go online using a tablet device.
Last night over 700 media industry representatives packed themselves into the Burlington Hotel for a night of celebrations at The Irish Media Awards 2013. We are delighted that Mindshare was among those recognised, winning four awards.
The first GAA match was streamed live on the internet by Armagh GAA. This was the Dr McKenna Cup encounter between Armagh and Tyrone. Armagh GAA organised the live stream of the game and it was met with widespread approval.
