Mindshare, MENA, part of Mindshare EMEA, spans 11 offices across markets (Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq) with local market teams and leads, reporting into the MENA CEO. In addition to the Markets, Mindshare also operates Centre of Excellence that works at a Regional level to support and provide disciplines services to all 11 Markets. These Centers of Excellence include Corporate Development, Digital and Solutions, and Growth & Client Leadership.  
  
Role context & Overview:  
As businesses continue to be impacted by the fast-evolving changes of digitization, we have an increasingly important role to play in helping our clients navigate the challenges they bring, in addition to helping a reputable global airline to build its brand and transform its business. 

 

  • The Media Manager is responsible for designing the client’s strategies across different markets and ensure the tactical plans align with the strategic agenda.
  • Overlook the execution, optimization and performance of the media deployed to drive the client’s business.
  • Be the client’s first and main contact point for local and global briefs and requests.

  
General Tasks: 

 

  • Develop a full understanding of in all areas of the agency/group suite of products and services.
  • Comply with all internal processes around quality assurance, ensuring all client facing information is proofed prior to submission. 
  • Create media strategy & rationale and work with Client Leadership Director and Planners to package and present back to client. 
  • Contribute constructively to the identification and improvement of central processes which could deliver higher performance. 

People Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop the knowledge and oversee the work of multiple senior planners.
  • Be a strong leader and mentor and lead by example.
  • Develop the perception of an expert and a consultant through the day-to-day interaction and relationship building with the clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media owners.
  • Ensure that you are delivering brilliant basics in digital implementation planning.
  • Work closely with the Client Leadership Director and Media Director on the day to day digital / offline output for your clients (working with all departments across the company) .
  • Work on proposals based on media owner ideas / solutions.
 
Skills: 

 

  • Extensive experience working across the full Communications Planning process.
  • 3-4 years of experience planning across Display, Search and Social Campaigns and offline.
  • Can present and talk confidently about all digital / offline channels.
  • Proven client management experience, handling key stakeholders, presenting, and managing expectations.
  • Strong communication skills. (Arabic speaking is nice to have).
  • Able to advise the team on broader digital themes such as Digitaly Maturity/Creative/Content and Partnerships.
  • Network and Collaboration Skills which will include: 
    • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
    • Deliver excellent client service and learn from feedback.
    • Co-ordinate strategic planning activities.
    • Remain up to date with market trends and understand the market and customer demographics.
