Mindshare UK brings Booking.com to TV for first time
Booking.com, the world’s number one accommodation site, has placed its media account with Mindshare UK as it launches on TV for the first time in the UK. Mindshare won the Booking.com account in a competitive pitch.
The 60 second TV spot made by Wieden+Kennedy launched on Sunday 16th February and is supported by online, cinema and VOD advertising as part of the new ‘Booking.yeah’ campaign.
Booking.yeah, the company’s first-ever brand campaign in the UK will launch with television commercial ‘Booking Epic’, which dramatizes the quirky things that people love about their accommodation stays. The ad was first broadcasted last night by means of a roadblock across UK media channels at 7.15pm.
Booking.com offers the best prices at all of its over 424,000 listed properties, covering more than 63,000 destinations in 195 countries, emphasizing the fact that Booking.com is a true Global experience.
Maria Stilin, Business Director from Mindshare UK said: “Booking.com has been around for some time but it still relatively unknown to Brits. Our aim is to increase Booking.com’s profile in the market and use data to better understand our audience’s behaviour and allow us to plan adaptively.”
