Mindshare shortlisted at the Brand Republic Digital Awards

The shortlist for the Brand Republic Digital Awards has finally been revealed and we're delighted to have been shortlisted for two honours; the highly coveted Agency of the Year and Intergrated Strategy of the Year for Get Set Go Argos

Get Set Go Argos was a joined up re-launch like no other to communicate its digital transformation. 

Argos became the first brand to create a mobile-integrated Digital OOH campaign at London Euston and Waterloo station. ‘Get set for bubbles’ mobile game encouraged commuters to use their smartphones to connect to the giant LED digital posters or play via a dedicated mobile site, competing against up to three other players to pop Argos’ multi-coloured bubbles for the chance to win Argos prizes from their premium product ranges.

To celebrate the launch of the campaign we created a music event at the flagship new look digital store in London. UK artist Katy B gave an exclusive performance at Argos’ digital store in Old Street. The event was live streamed across YouTube and Twitter including the first ever Google+ hangout streamed live into the masthead on YouTube in the UK. Online viewers were offered the chance to win Argos prizes throughout the live event.

Being dynamic, connected and in real-time, this activity marked a departure from old world Argos communications model and reflected the business ambition to be a ‘digital retail leader,’ offering an exciting view into the new look Argos.

The winners will be announced on 18th June 2015 and we will be hopeful to bring home two trophies.
