Evans Cycles appoints Mindshare UK

As part of its remit Mindshare will be targeting current and prospective cyclists with a data led approach, fusing numerous data sets to fuel their above the line strategy. Mindshare will be helping Evans Cycles grow their brand nationally as well as supporting Evans Cycles’ ambitious store opening programme through creation of a locally led store launch strategy.

Evans Cycles was founded in 1921 on the Kennington Road in south east London and, they now have over 50 stores nationwide. Despite their heritage Evans Cycles are relatively new to the advertising world, starting above the line advertising in 2012. Evans Cycles are now looking to Mindshare to take them to the next level and deliver their ultimate goal of becoming the UK’s favourite specialist cycling retailer.

The win followed James Backhouse, Evans Cycles’, Marketing Director attending Mindshare’s Huddle event in November last year. He said, “Huddle was a great showcase for Mindshare UK’s understanding of data, technology and content. They are a great fit for our business and we’re excited about working together on the next stage in our marketing.
