Regional Leader & CEO Benelux (Nordics and Benelux)

Ton Schoonderbeek Ton started his career working in various roles at Ogilvy, FHV BBDO and Publicis. After working at PPGH/JWT as Planning Director, Ton joined Mindshare to launch the Netherlands office in 1999, winning large local assignments from KPN, Randstad and Dutch Railways in his first years. Ton then moved to set up GroupM Netherlands in 2005, returning to Mindshare in 2008. He was responsible for the development of the Mindshare proposition and digitised the agency by acquiring and integrating digital agency Reddion. Mindshare Netherlands grew further, winning assignments from Heineken, ING and Holland Casino as well as international clients including Unilever and Kraft Foods. Mindshare is consistently regarded as the number one agency in size and reputation in the Dutch market.

Ton then took on the role of Benelux leader and restructured the Brussels office. The change resulted in Belgium winning their first agency of the year award in 2010.

In his current role, Ton oversees Mindshare business in both Benelux and Nordic markets and is responsible for client leadership in the Amsterdam office.
