Simon M Willis

Simon Willis  Simon started his career in 1992 as a presenter in local radio and three years later became a producer for BBC Radio 1, responsible for The Simon Mayo Show. In 1997 he was made Executive Producer with a brief to re-launch the breakfast slot, from which was born The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. In 1999 he was made Head of Daytime programmes.

In 2000 Simon was fast tracked into BBC television and produced The Generation Game, and became a member of the format development unit.

In 2002 he helped chef Jamie Oliver set up his production company, Fresh One Productions and in two years helped the company create Jamie's Kitchen and Oliver's Twist. Oliver's Twist sold to 37 countries.

In 2004 he joined start-up business Optimistic Entertainment to create and implement their global content strategy and in 2007 he joined MindShare as Head of Programming.
