Simon Andrews

Chief Strategy Officer, MindShare Interaction Worldwide

Simon Andrews  Simon joined Mindshare in 2006 from Big Picture, the agency he founded to focus on emerging media, including mobile, social networks and newTV.

Before branching out on his own, Simon was a partner at Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners, where he built the agency's capabilities in digital, direct and integrated marketing and became the first chairman of offshoot DLKW Dialogue in January 2002.

Simon's track record before DLKW includes being a launch partner of Modem Media Poppe Tyson, Media Planning Director of Y&R and Zenith Media and Strategic Development Director of Ogilvy Direct. He originally got into this business because he liked ads.

Now he is an evangelist for non-interruptive marketing and longs for two things: a more powerful mobile phone so he doesn't have to lug his laptop around the world; and the resurgence of Leeds United.
