Dominic Proctor CEO, MindShare Worldwide

 Dominic ProctorDominic Proctor started his media career in 1979, because of the long lunches and interesting people, and worked in various advertising agencies before joining J Walter Thompson.

In 1989 he became Media Director of JWT London before becoming Managing Director in 1991 and Chief Executive in December 1992. He held this position for five years, during which time he also had a seat on the Board of JWT Worldwide. In September 1997, he launched MindShare Worldwide, WPP’s first media investment management agency. Since then it has grown to become the world’s leading media agency, operating in 67 markets.

Dominic lives in London with his wife and four children. He is a great admirer of John de Mol, for his amazing ability to spot and create modern mainstream entertainment formats.
