Global Leader, Mindshare Invention
George Michaelides created the concept of Media Strategy at UK creative hot-shop HHCL - named agency of the 1990s by Campaign magazine. He went on to co-found, with Graham Bednash, the world's first-ever Media Strategy agency, Michaelides & Bednash.
Michaelides & Bednash became the first company to be named ‘Media Agency of the Year' by both Campaign and Media Week in the same year; and built a track record of award-winning, innovative communications ideas for a wide range of clients from Channel4 to Unilever.
In recognition of his track record for innovation, Campaign magazine named George ‘Media Pioneer of the 1990s'.
In October 2008 George joined Mindshare to head up Mindshare Invention the network's creative media thinking group and take a lead role on Mindshare's multi- territory Unilever account.
