Advertising Age has today announced that MindShare has been awarded the honour of '2003 Global Media Agency of the Year'. Advertising Age commented: 'Meticulous and tenacious, MindShare is Advertising Age's Global Media Agency of the Year. More than any of its rivals, MindShare in 2003 won a wide range of new business, orchestrated global client relationships and developed innovative media strategies.' Alan Rutherford, Unilever's Global Media Director was interviewed by Advertising Age about the award and said: 'MindShare truly operates at a global, regional or national level - they've managed to structure themselves to clients' needs, and that's unusual. They're probably ahead of the creative agencies.'
This award comes as a climax to a truly outstanding year for MindShare, having been honoured with an unprecedented amount of awards across the network. In total MindShare has won more awards on a national, regional or global basis than any other media company in history.
