Mindshare Sweden wins 75W for Volvo Cars
STOCKHOLM, 24th October, 2013 - Mindshare Sweden has been awarded the 75W in 100W for Volvo Cars- Leave the world behind in Sweden.
Mindshare Sweden won 75W and second place in the Consumer category at the Swedish award 100W yesterday. The Volvo Cars campaign Leave the world behind was a joint entry from Mindshare and the creative agency Forsman&Bodenfors together with Volvo Cars.
The launch of the new Volvo XC60 was a global campaign, but in Sweden the launch had an evolved approach. The Volvo Cars campaign Leave the world behind (http://www.leavetheworldbehind.com/) started on May 17 and included the world-premiere of the music video to a new version of Swedish House Mafia's "Leave the World Behind" which was shown during a specially-dedicated commercial break during the broadcast of TV4's hugely popular Let's Dance - the Swedish version of Dancing With the Stars. After this the campaign was accelerated through a mix of PR and paid, owned and earned media platforms in an unique, native advertising approach.
The Association of Swedish Advertisers arranges a contest called "100-wattaren", among advertisers and their agencies for the ad that brings in the best results.
